I’m A.J.
Welcome to the part where I talk about myself..I was born and (mostly) raised in North Louisiana. My favorite color is pink. I have a penchant for singing 90’s country music at the top of my lungs, and poetry changed my life.
I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the written word, but my passion for poetry was born after experiencing the power of spoken word at a local open mic night. It was creativity, therapy, and community all rolled into one, at a time in my life when they were desperately needed. Ultimately, poetry gave me hope and became a catalyst for real change in my life. So, if you’re looking for an authentic presence with a quirky personality and a winsome way with words..
